From the Tiniest Acorn Grows the Mighty Oak

About the Garments
This video was created to commemorate Baby Ward’s life and as a birthday gift to my wife, Ward’s Mother.
Watch to catch a glimpse of our journey-
My name is Benjamin Miller. I am 29. I am a photographer and filmmaker. Here is my story…
No one knows when they will be called to another level. My moment came on July 16th, 2012, when my wife delivered our son, Ward, 15 weeks premature. She wasn’t ready. I wasn’t ready. No one was ready. We had NO idea what a baby being born this early meant. We had no idea if he would be healthy or have issues that would plague him the rest of his life. There was absolutely nothing we could do to help him. All we could do was trust that God would bring him through! We had a peace about us from the moment he was born that everything would be okay. We knew that God would heal him and bring him home safely to us… and that soon we would have a perfectly normal boy.
Our journey in the NICU lasted 107 days. 107 days of ups and downs. Crying and laughing. Scares and joyful moments. In the end, it made us stronger. My wife and I were brought closer to each other and we both feel we drew closer to God. We certainly have seen him work some miracles during Ward’s stay. When Ward came home and we walked through our front door with him, it was as if we had fought a battle over the past 3 and a half months and finally came out on top. It was an amazing moment.
Over that first year we got to witness lots of special moments as Ward grew up little by little. It was so rewarding to see him develop. As a photographer, I naturally have a camera nearby most of the time. I was able to film a lot of his moments, starting way back in the NICU, all the way through to his first birthday and beyond. This film was a gift to my wife for her birthday, but it has turned into a gift that millions of people across the globe have been blessed by as well. It is a testament to God’s grace, His ability to give us the strength to overcome our circumstances, and the power he has to heal a very sick little boy and bring him home safe and sound. I hope you are touched by the video the same way we have been touched by our son, Ward Miles.

45 days. That’s how long Nick and Jennifer Hall’s son Graham was with them. Graham had an incredibly difficult journey but he was so strong, such a fighter. They were grateful for every moment they were able to spend with him during his life here on earth.
After Graham’s passing, family and friends from around the country joined the Halls to celebrate Graham’s life. There were at least a dozen NICU staff who’d cared for Graham and Reece in attendance, too. Together, they released 45 blue and white balloons at the service to remember the baby boy who touched their lives so deeply.
Today, family and friends join Nick and Jennifer on January 7th each year as they celebrate Graham’s life and his legacy, Graham’s Foundation, which has touched the lives of thousands of parents of preemies who might otherwise have felt isolated and alone. Thanks to Graham’s Foundation’s resources, programs, and peer-to-peer connections, these special moms and dads are welcomed into a broad community of parents from all walks of life who support and empower one another.
Life’s true measure is not the days lived but the lives touched.
